Our Classes

Fundamentals

Based off Master Rickson Gracie's SDU (Self Defence Unit), this class builds the foundations of jiu-jitsu: core concepts like weight distribution and leverage, with a keen focus on self defence that works. Ideal for beginners, it teaches you to control a larger opponent using technique rather than strength, and it's just as valuable for advanced students revisiting and sharpening the fundamentals.

Advanced (Gi / No-Gi)

Building off the techniques from the fundamentals class, this class goes into more depth on how they flow together: everything from standing to ground, drawing on different instructors and approaches, while keeping a keen focus on Master Rickson Gracie's key fundamentals: base, connection, timing, and the principles that tie it all together.

Vale Tudo

An advanced no-gi class with striking brought into the techniques and rolling. Building off the traditional Vale Tudo format, the style that proved Gracie Jiu-Jitsu against all comers and went on to shape modern MMA, it blends stand-up and ground fighting into one complete game while staying rooted in the fundamentals: connection, base, and timing. Grappling gloves allow safe, controlled striking on the mat.

Muay Thai

Step onto the mat with our Muay Thai class, led by Dylan. Often called "the art of eight limbs," Muay Thai puts your fists, elbows, knees and shins to work in one of the most effective striking systems in the world. Sharpen your technique, build real conditioning and grow your confidence, brand new or experienced. It pairs perfectly with jiu-jitsu, rounding out your stand-up to make you a more complete martial artist.

Kids

Our kids classes are run by experienced jiu-jitsu instructors with the assistance of senior blue belt students, all of whom hold a valid Working with Children Check. The classes incorporate games to make sure kids have an enjoyable time while still building the foundations of jiu-jitsu.

Mobility

Led by expert trainer Steve Bailey, who brings many years of experience in the mobility industry, this class is built on helping your body move the way it's meant to. Perfect for any level, it improves how you move and helps reduce the risk of injury throughout your jiu-jitsu training.
